Community Projects
Fall Food Collection
Cereal and other food items were collected by members and delivered to Our Savior Lutheran Food Pantry as part of our Fall Food Event in conjunction with the October 22nd Make a Difference Day. We also sent a check for $50 to Iowa Catholic Daughters for disbursement to diocesan pantries.
Homeless Bags Collection
Members donated personal items at our August meeting. Items were delivered to MOHM's Place for distribution to those seeking help from this organization.
40 Days for Life Project
This national project runs February 25 - April 5. We participated in this pro-life project through rosaries and extra prayers and intentions said. Dennis Shea from Gabriel's Corner spoke at a summer meeting regarding this event and the work they do.
Celebrate CB
We will be active in Celebrate CB again this year by handing out shirts, registering teams, and serving food at the Clean Sweep through Keep Council Bluffs Beautiful in Bayliss Park on May 17. If you are interested in this project, contact Sheila.
